Alex has grown into a world class performer and composer, capturing audiences with his unique style of fiddling. Alex has a natural ability to connect with his audience in his live shows with absolute ease.  He captivates show goers with his incredible energy of pulsing fiddle tunes accompanied with the traditional dancing of his feet.

Onstage, Alex’s performance versatility ranges from the traditional old time tunes, to driving Celtic/Quebecois, and his forte - the native Métis style. He combines his unique licks and phrasing into tunes that translates into an intriguing musical experience.  Show guests are uplifted by this experience of Alex's musical performance and intimate connection with the audience drawing them in to return for an encore.
As a 3rd generation fiddle player he followed his mother Patti to Old time dances around Manitoba where he was enriched with the essence of Métis fiddle. His father, a treaty Indian from Wabigoon Lake First Nation in Ontario made sure that Alex learned of his aboriginal heritage which transferred into his music and gave him a set of values in which he lives his life. Between his mother's fiddle and his father's guitar, there is no question that Alex would take to the music and continue to pass on the tradition.

He holds past Championship titles in British Columbia, Alberta and Manitoba. Alex also participated in the Canadian Grand Masters National Competition with an invitation to return for 2017.

Alex has released two Independent Albums, "Groove" (2009) and "For Old Times Sake" (2014). In Alex's show you can count on a display of culture through music and dance, stories of his upbringing, and a "hard driving" energy that will get everyone on their feet.
